English Pop star Ed Sheeran has been tested positive for Covid days before his new album release. The album namely = (pronounced Equals) is set for a release on Friday, October 29.
For the matter, the 30-year-old singer will give interviews from home, most likely online.
“Quick note to tell you that I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines.” Sheeran said on Instagram.
“It means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in-person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house. Apologies to anyone I’ve let down. Be safe everyone.” He said.
‘=’ is the fifth album of the much celebrated Pop star in the contemporary world.
Meanwhile Sheeran had announced his performances in Europe including Ireland as part of the world tour titled ‘Mathematics.’
