Herbal cannabis worth €610,000 has been seized from baggage at Dublin Airport by the revenue department.
When Revenue agents stopped and searched a passenger who had flown in from Frankfurt, Germany, they discovered the finding thursday evening.
They found 30.5 kgs of herbal cannabis concealed in the luggage.
A man, aged in his 30s, was subsequently arrested. He was taken to a Dublin Garda station where he is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
