The Covid passport which contains the vaccination status, Covid test history, covid recovered date etc has been approved by the European Parliament. The European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that a key step has been made which enhances safe and free travel this summer. This measure is only useful till the pandemic period gets over.
The Ireland South MEP said that the plan makes sense and all member countries should implement it as soon as possible in an effective manner which could reopen travel and business in Europe. Ireland have completed vaccination in more than one million people and all should acknowledge the work done by the vaccination teams and GPs in the country.
