Two suspects sought after forced entry and theft on Ignatius Street in early morning incident

Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred in Waterford City during the early hours of Thursday, October 23, and are appealing to the public for information.
The incident took place shortly after midnight at a property on Ignatius Street, where entry was forced and items were stolen.
A Garda spokesman confirmed two men were involved in the theft. Investigators have released the following descriptions:
- First suspect: Believed to be wearing a peaked hat
- Second suspect: Reported to be carrying an orange device
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the two men in or around Ignatius Street at the time of the incident to come forward. Gardaí are particularly interested in reviewing CCTV or dashcam footage from the area that may have captured the suspects or their movements.
