The first-ever IFA Rummy Tournament, held at Drogheda’s Tulliyalan Hall on April 27th, has been hailed as a triumphant debut, boasting remarkable participation and seamless organization. Rummy enthusiasts from across Ireland converged for a spirited display of skill and sportsmanship, contributing to the event’s undeniable success.
Following a series of competitive stages, winners were duly recognized in a ceremonious prize-giving session. Joby Davies clinched the coveted first prize of €1001, graciously presented by Sandy Manoj, President of the IFA. Gigi Nduwiil secured the second position, earning a prize of 501 Euros, bestowed by Renee Joseph, Financial Advisor of Captain QFA. Smith Salimkumar claimed the third spot, receiving a prize of 201 Euros from Gio Jose, Secretary of IFA.
