Shubman Gill’s first T20I century and Hardik Pandya’s four-wicket haul helped Team India thrash New Zealand by 168 runs in the third and final T20I match on Wednesday in Ahmedabad.
India won the toss and decided to bat first. India elected to bat first after winning the toss. Rahul Tripathi’s 44 off 22 balls and Gill’s unbeaten 126 off 63 balls, both scorching, helped Team India post a massive total of 234/4 in 20 overs.
Michael Bracewell, Blair Tickner, Daryl Mitchell, and Ish Sodhi all took one wicket for New Zealand.
The visitors were eventually bowled out for 66 by Hardik Pandya, who had taken four wickets, along with two each from Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, and Shivam Mavi. The three-match series was won 2-1 by Team India with this victory.
