History of ICB
The bazaar was the initiative of some wives of Ambassadors to give immediate relief to victims of the earthquake in Pakistan. In the few years since its inception, the International Charity Bazaar Dublin has established itself as a popular event on the Dublin social calendar. Every year the Diplomatic Corps and local communities in Ireland invite the whole city to taste their traditional food and drinks, buy local and exotic crafts, and even fine art. In 2015 the ICB raised more than €85,000 and distributed much-needed funding to nine separate charitable organizations.
