US president Joe Biden is set to give a historic address to the Oireachtas this afternoon.
As the highlight of his day’s sessions in Dublin, Biden has arrived at Leinster House.
Due to Mr. Biden’s other commitments running late, it was originally scheduled for 3.30 pm but has now been postponed.
He has met with President Michael D Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin and visited Farmleigh House this afternoon.
He is now in Leinster House for the main event today, which will be his address to the Joint Houses of the Oireachtas.
Earlier on Thursday, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar met Mr Biden at at Farmleigh House in the Phoenix Park.
