Man aged 40 dies in Co Meath road collision

A man in his 40s has died following a road crash at Donore, Co Meath.

The motorbike collision happened at Cruicerath, shortly before 8.30 pm last night.

The report says It was a single-vehicle collision.

His body was shifted to the mortuary at Navan Hospital where a post mortem will take place. He was alone in the vehicle and no other injuries were reported.

The road where the collision happened remains closed this morning to allow for a technical examination of the scene by Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
