Mayor Baby Perepadan unveiled the first poster for the CityWest Malayali Association’s Onam celebration program, Athapoom Nulli. The poster release took place during a meeting with committee members at CityWest.
The 2024 Onam celebrations, organized by the CityWest Malayali Association (MIC), will be held at the Perrystown Community Center on 21st Assam. A diverse range of events is planned for the occasion. The festivities will include the traditional raising of Maveli, various arts and sports events, a sumptuous feast, and a song festival highlighting folk music.
The celebration aims to bring together the Malayali community in CityWest, fostering a sense of unity and cultural pride. Participants can look forward to a day filled with traditional activities and delicious food, creating an authentic Onam experience.
