21 counties under thunderstorm warning by Met Eirann as they are very vulnerable to miserable conditions. The showers on Thursday morning will extend to all areas and may become heavy with hail and thunderstorms. In the midlands and north, the showers will be in its heaviest form which may cause spot flooding and winds may also blow pretty fast. During the night, the climate stays dry with a few scattered showers. Temperature may fall by 3-6 degrees in light west winds.
Fridays will have sunny spells and light showers mostly over the northern half of the country and the showers turn heavy in the afternoon. The clouds move on to the southwest coast by late afternoon. Munster and Connacht will have rain through out the evening and it extends to all areas by night.
Saturday morning will be rainy with a bit of sunshine in the north east areas and gradually become widespread by afternoon with hail and thundery downpours. Sunday will also have the same climate as Saturday and heavy downpours and risk of hails could be expected by afternoon.
