Two people arrested as part of probe into accommodation fraud in south Dublin

In connection with an investigation into accommodation fraud in south Dublin, two people have been arrested.

Following searches at two homes in Dublin 13 this morning, a 30-year-old male and a 24-year-old woman were taken into custody by the Garda.

Officers from the Raheny and Blackrock garda stations conducted the searches.

Investigators also found several documents, several mobile phones, and some cash during the searches.

At the Blackrock Garda station, both individuals are being held in custody in accordance with Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act of 1984.

The case is still under investigation, according to a garda spokesperson.
