Revenue officers have seized 20kgs of herbal cannabis worth €400,000 market value in a routine check at Dublin Airport on Monday morning. The cannabis packets were concealed within stationary products in a consignment that had arrived from Spain.
The search was carried out with the assistance of Revenue’s mobile x-ray scanner and detector dog Waffle.
Investigations are ongoing.
