A fully pregnant mum has been helped by the Dublin Fire Brigade to deliver the child after her waters broken. The Fire Brigade crew actually came to transfer the mom to the hospital but was unable to do so as the lady was in heavy pain.
Following a quick decision, the firefighters and paramedics in the crew helped the lady to deliver the baby boy right inside the Tallaght fire station vehicle. The vehicle was en route during the birth.
The birth was without complexities and later they brought the mum and little boy to the maternity hospital in Dublin. Both are doing well, the Fire Brigade said in a tweet.
