“The purpose of human life is to serve” Indian ladies in Ireland to “Feed the homeless”

Indian ladies in Ireland joined their hands with Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Dublin to feed the homeless & needy people outside the GPO on O’Connell Street in Dublin city centre.

The volunteers came along with their family served food and distributed clothes and blankets to homeless and needy people. It was heart-warming to see kids as young as 4 year old volunteering to serve the food to people in need.

Homeless and needy people from all faiths of life queued to get food and clothing. A Gofund me page has been set up by the Indian ladies in Ireland group where they raised a good amount to sponsor the food to feed the homeless people with the help of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar.

The founder of Indian Ladies in Ireland group, Supriya Singh believes that the purpose of human life is to serve and to show compassion and the will to help others, and when the community comes together for this noble cause it’s a great feeling. The group plans to continue serving the homeless people depending upon the fund they will generate.

Since 5 years the group has been doing several activities to help people from all walks of life. The group wishes to continue serving the community in whatever way possible to keep the spirit of India alive in Ireland.
