Three kids have been hospitalised after taking suspected cannabis jellies at a house in West Dublin last night.
Gardai say the children, described as pre-teens, became ill after consuming a product advertised as cannabis-infused edibles.
The gardai have now officially confirmed that they were discharged from the hospital this afternoon. Their conditions were not considered to be life-threatening.
A small quantity of the product has been seized and is being examined.
In a statement, officers say; “Gardaí are conducting enquiries after a number of children (pre-teens) required hospital treatment following an incident at a residence in west Dublin on Sunday 26th February. Their conditions are not life threatening and they have since been discharged from hospital.”
