Unsanitary Food Preparation: Dublin & Tipperary Establishments Shut Down

In a move to safeguard public health, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has ordered the immediate closure of two food establishments in Dublin and Tipperary, following inspections conducted in September. The shutdowns come as a response to grave violations of food safety regulations in Ireland.

The two establishments that have been served with closure notices are Xi’an Street Food, a takeaway joint located at 28 Anne Street South, Dublin 2, and Paul Tobin Butchers, situated at 3 Abbey Road, Clonmel, Tipperary.

During the inspections, a range of concerning infractions were unearthed, including improper meat preparation, inadequate food storage practices, mishandling of waste, and a failure to maintain cleanliness in the premises.

Furthermore, the Health Service Executive (HSE) has initiated legal action against GREENHEART CBD LTD in Meath, which was found to have disregarded essential food safety standards.

These actions underscore the FSAI’s commitment to upholding rigorous food safety regulations and ensuring the well-being of consumers throughout Ireland.
