Warm but changeable weather ahead, says Met Éireann

Met Éireann forecasts a warm but changeable week ahead, with a mix of sunshine, showers, and unsettled weather.

Monday: The northern half of the country will start dry with sunny spells after any fog clears. The south will see scattered showers, some of which may be heavy and persistent in southern and eastern counties. Temperatures will range from 15 to 21°C, with the coolest weather in the southeast and the warmest in Ulster. Fresh winds are expected along the southern coasts.

Monday Night: Damp conditions will clear eastwards early, leading to a dry night with some mist. It will be mild and humid, with temperatures between 12 and 14°C.

Tuesday: A warm day with a mix of cloud and sunshine. Mostly dry weather is expected, though some scattered showers may occur. Temperatures will range from 18 to 22°C.

Tuesday Night: Largely dry with clear spells and a few light showers. Temperatures will drop to between 10 and 14°C.

Wednesday: Sunny spells early on, turning cloudy later with scattered rain and drizzle. Some midland and eastern areas may remain dry with warm sunshine. Humid conditions are expected, with temperatures between 17 and 21°C.

Wednesday Night: Scattered rain and drizzle will continue, with temperatures dropping to between 10 and 15°C, coolest in Connacht.
