An investigation is underway after the body of a woman was discovered on Monday in Sligo.
The site has been maintained for a technical examination after the finding was made last night in Sligo town just after 8.30 p.m.
As of Tuesday morning, the woman’s body was still at the site, conserved for a technical inspection by the Garda Technical Bureau.
The results of the post-mortem examination will determine how the Garda inquiry will proceed.
