An attack in Dublin’s city centre on Thursday left a man in his 20s hospitalised after he was stabbed.
Garda and emergency services arrived at Marlborough Street in Dublin 1 just before one o’clock in response to reports of an assault.
An apparent stabbing victim in his late 20s received on-site medical attention before being transported by ambulance to the Mater Hospital. It is believed that he is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made as of yet despite a thorough investigation of the scene and ongoing local inquiries.
Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward and for those with camera footage from the vicinity of Marlborough Street and North Earl Street at the time of the incident to make it available to them.
