‘Finglas Cubs’ crowned champions in the Mixed Cubs A-League championship

With all the stressful moments of a cricket match, Finglas Cubs claimed victory in the Mixed Cubs A-League championship game. In a competitive game that lasted the entire time, the visiting Finglas Cubs defeated the home Railway Union Cubs by five runs.

The young boys from both sides handle the pressure situation of a big game in a controlled manner.

Indian origins represent the majority of the club’s players in Finglas.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Finglas Cubs scored 101 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Chasing the target, Railway Union managed to score only 96 runs in 20 overs, thus giving Finglas Cubs a narrow 5 runs victory.

At Park Avenue, Cricket Leinster organised the Mixed Cubs championship.
