President Meehol D. Higgins Hospitalized, Declared Stable After Tests

Dublin, Ireland – In a turn of events, 82-year-old Irish President Meehol D. Higgins was admitted to the hospital last night due to feeling unwell. The Rashtrapati Bhavan conducted initial inspections, leading to the decision for further tests and hospitalization. President Higgins, however, remains in stable condition, and all test results have come back positive, assuring the public there’s no cause for concern.

Expressing gratitude to the medical staff for their care, President Higgins is in good health while still under observation. Last night, despite his health situation, he presented the 2024 Volta Award to British film director Steve McQueen at the Dublin International Film Festival.

Amidst his hospital stay, the President maintained diplomatic engagements, speaking with Vietnam’s Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son over the phone.
