All people aged 16 and above will be able to get their Covid vaccine booster shots from Sunday. The HSE has opened a portal for their registration last night and people with an appointment will be able to get their shots from vaccination centres, GP surgeries and community pharmacies, the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has confirmed.
With this move, all adult age groups are now eligible for booster shots.

People who have completed their vaccine course at least three months ago are eligible for a booster shot. Regardless of the first vaccine, everybody will be offered Pfizer or Moderna as boosters.
If you have been tested positive for Covid, you would have to wait for three months for a booster shot.
People aged 16 to 29 who received the Janssen vaccine as their first dose were able to avail of a booster from Tuesday of this week.
