Following a search operation in Co. Tipperary on Monday, the Garda have seized cannabis worth more than €500,000.
A growhouse was discovered on the site by Garda shortly before 8 o’clock during a search of certain properties in the Lorrha neighbourhood.
During the operation, a sizable number of cannabis plants were found (an analysis is pending), along with other drug paraphernalia.
Garda from the Nenagh District participated in Operation Tara, which included the search.
Investigations are still being done, and no one has been arrested.
