The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 5,252 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19. In addition, on Wednesday 30 March, 6,489 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
It brings the combined total of Covid-19 cases reported today to 11,741.
As of 8 am today, 1,535 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 58 are in ICU.
