The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 6,284 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19. In addition, on Monday 14 March, 9,735 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
It brings the combined total of Covid-19 cases reported today to 16,019.
As of 8 am today, 1,047 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 42 are in ICU.
