The Health Department has confirmed further 1,706 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland today. As per the latest reports, 347 Covid patients are now being treated in hospitals and 60 of them are in intensive care.
Meanwhile the walk-in Covid vaccination centres across the country are continuing service and HSE chief Paul Reid said the programme has been a great success. He again emphasized the importance of vaccination through Twitter page.
