Condé Nast Traveler has named Dublin as one of the best places in the world to celebrate the holiday season.
The list includes festive Christmas markets in Europe, amazing light displays in Asian cities, and US holiday customs.
In Dublin the travel publication featured Yuletide shopping experiences and excellent pub crawls.
Additionally, it made mention of Christmas markets, which include Moore Street in Dublin, Winterval in Waterford, the Continental Christmas Market in Galway, and the Christmas Market in Belfast.
Black pudding and a few pints are the best way to stay warm on a chilly Christmas eve, and this city has plenty of cosy bars to keep you warm through New Year’s, according to Condé Nast.
“Holiday offerings include Christmas markets, decked-out shops on Grafton Street, and tree-lighting ceremonies galore” says Condé Nast.
