The Indian Embassy in Dublin, Ireland celebrated World Hindi Day 2023 with great enthusiasm. The event, which was held on 10th January 2023, was organized by the Embassy of India in Dublin to promote the language and culture of India.
The event began with a traditional Hindu prayer and a brief introduction about the importance of the language by Akhilesh Mishra, the Ambassador of India to Ireland. This was followed by various performances that ranged from a father-daughter duo reciting the words of Chattrapati Shivaji, to beautiful poems of Harivansh Rai Bachan to the powerful recitation of Mahabharata.
Everyone who attended the function was mesmerized by the talent showcased. Beginning with a Ganapati shloka in Kashmiri language, to poems translated into the Hindi language, followed by poems of Shri. Sumitranandan Pant, Shri. Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Shri. Kunwar Narayan, Shri. Harivansh Rai Bachan and many such famous poets. All were recited with such passion and grace.
Patriotic songs, recitations, and stories, each and everyone bringing out the beauty of India through their words and actions, it was truly a mesmerizing evening.
