Galway Sees Surge In Job Opportunities Across Various Sectors

Galway, Ireland – In a boost to the local job market, over 350 job opportunities are set to open up in Galway across a diverse range of companies. The region is witnessing a significant expansion of its workforce, with several prominent companies announcing substantial job vacancies.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise, renowned for its HP computers, is at the forefront with plans to create 150 job openings. These positions will be generated through the establishment of a new Global Center of Excellence in Galway, marking a pivotal step in the company’s expansion efforts.

Cybersecurity firm TitalHQ is set to announce 70 job vacancies, with the intent to fill them over the next two years. Meanwhile, Nostra, an Irish IT services provider, will contribute to this job surge with 35 vacancies, as they open a new office in Galway City.

Adding to the list, medical device manufacturer Freudenberg Medical is planning to hire approximately 100 professionals. These opportunities will span across fields such as Engineering, Research and Development, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Support Services.

The influx of job opportunities is made possible with the support of IDA, Enterprise Ireland, and Údarás na Gaeltachta. This development underscores Galway’s growing prominence as a hub for employment across various sectors, especially in the field of IT and technology.
