In a bid to tackle traffic woes and promote eco-friendly transportation solutions in Lucan and Adamstown, Green Party candidate Jithin Ram has unveiled a comprehensive transport reform proposal. The manifesto, presented to Transport Minister Eamon Ryan, outlines key initiatives aimed at easing congestion and reducing carbon emissions.

Ram’s proposals include initiating a direct bus service from Thala to Adamstown, extending the Bus 151 route, resolving traffic congestion near the SuperValu store in Lucan, increasing train services to Adamstown, establishing a direct bus link from Lucan to the airport, and expanding electric bus charging infrastructure.
During discussions with Minister Ryan, Ram emphasized the dual benefits of his suggestions: addressing pressing transportation issues while also fostering a more environmentally sustainable community. Ram, well-known within the Indian community in Ireland, believes these measures will not only improve daily commutes but also contribute to a greener, cleaner future for Lucan and Adamstown.
As the local council elections approach, Ram’s transport reform proposal stands as a testament to the Green Party’s commitment to pragmatic solutions for both residents and the environment.
