Indian Embassy In Dublin Showcases ‘Bhoomi’ – A Glimpse Of Traditional Indian Artforms

DUBLIN – The Embassy of India in Dublin is proud to present ‘Bhoomi,’ a captivating exhibition featuring an array of traditional Indian art forms. As part of ‘The India Showcase’ series of exhibitions, this event was a vibrant celebration of India’s rich artistic heritage.

The exhibition took place from September 29th to 30th, providing ample opportunities for art enthusiasts to explore the beauty and intricacy of these timeless art forms.

Displayed at the exhibition were an eclectic range of traditional Indian art forms, including Tikuli, Dot mandala, Lippan, Kolam, Kerala Mural, Madhubani, Pattachitra, Tanjore, and Warli. Each of these forms carried centuries of cultural significance and artistic finesse.

‘Bhoomi’ featured a talented lineup of participating artists who have poured their creativity into these traditional art forms. Artists such as Ankita Khimesra, Indhu, Kirti Pandey, Lopamudra, Malvika Sinha, Meena Karunanidhi, Nambitha Maruthi, Pankti, Shruti Singhal, and Sneha Krishnasankar showcased their masterpieces.

This exhibition was made possible with the support of The Dublin Desi Artists Collective, who facilitated the event. The venue was The Embassy of India Dublin.

‘Bhoomi’ was a visual feast and a journey into the heart of India’s traditional artistry. Art lovers and cultural enthusiasts immersed themselves in this unique experience, celebrating the diversity and beauty of Indian art forms.
