Indian Film Festival of Ireland (IFFI) 2021 takes place from 16-19 October Virtually

Indian Film Festival of Ireland (IFFI) will happen from 16-19 October 2021. The festival will be a virtual one because of the Covid 19 pandemic restrictions in place. This is the second time in 12 years, the festival is going to happen virtually.

Last year almost 30,000 audience attended the festival from their private comfort spaces. The festival was a grand success as people propagated the programme through word of mouth, social media shares etc. The authorities are expecting more than 50,000 audiences this year as ‘necessity is the mother of all inventions’.

The theme of the festival is Education in Films and films about education in India will be screened. Educate Girls in India, an NGO run by Ms. Safeena Hussain is the charity partner of the event. The construction works to successfully execute the festival had already started. You can enjoy the event on
