Indian nationals had the highest median weekly earnings in Ireland in 2023, earning approximately €883.74 per week, according to new data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
They were followed by UK nationals, who earned a median of €745.71 per week, while Irish nationals had median weekly earnings of around €728.
At the lower end of the earnings scale, Ukrainian nationals had the lowest median weekly income at €450.29, followed by Brazilian nationals at €514.15 and Lithuanian nationals at €594.21.
Meanwhile, employment in Irish-owned enterprises rose by 2.9 per cent year-on-year to 1,877,800 people as of November 2024.
Employment in foreign-owned companies also saw a slight increase, rising 0.5 per cent to 618,700.
