Global software firm Kaseya is set to create 250 new jobs after choosing Dundalk as the location of its new centre of excellence.
The new positions at the new Dundalk location will be concentrated in inside sales, particularly new client acquisition, as well as engineering and technical support. A few opportunities in corporate services will be open.
The Dundalk centre of excellence will focus on research and development for Kaseya, a global supplier of unified IT management and security software to mid-market businesses and managed service providers.
Leo Varadkar, Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade, and Employment, stated that the company’s Irish expansion “demonstrates Kaseya’s commitment to Ireland and the appeal of Dundalk as a destination to invest.”
“It’s also a real vote of confidence in Kaseya’s existing team here – I’m sure it was their hard work that gave the company the confidence to expand further. Kaseya has witnessed remarkable growth over recent years, and I wish the team every continued success with the new Dundalk office.”
Additionally, Kaseya intends to collaborate with nearby universities to help prepare students for careers in the software industry.
IT and security management software is offered by the business, which has its headquarters in Miami, Florida. Currently, Kaseya is present in more than 25 different nations.
In Dublin, where it established its EMEA headquarters in 2016, the software company already has a location.
“We saw tremendous opportunity to expand the tech ecosystem in Ireland – we’re already in Dublin – and decided to open a second office in Dundalk,” said Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola.
“We are planning to attract top tech talent and generate a robust workforce pipeline in the local community. We are excited about this partnership that will expand Kaseya’s footprint in Ireland, where Kaseya has its roots.”
