Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault after a woman posted visual and audio allegations on social media of an incident.
Manchester police said they had arrested a man on suspicion of rape and assault on Sunday after Manchester United suspended Mason Greenwood following allegations on social media.
United said the 20-year-old forward “will not return to training or play matches until further notice.”
