At the 19th General Body Meeting of the Drogheda Indian Association (DMA), held at Tullyallan Parish Hall under the stewardship of Amy Sebastian, significant decisions were made to steer the organization forward. Past accomplishments were reviewed, and plans for the upcoming year were outlined. The meeting also saw the election of the executive members for 2024.
Vijesh Anthony, Anil Mathew, and Unnikrishnan Nair will serve as coordinators, while Irene Shaju and Anna Maria Thomas take on the role of Youth Coordinators. For sports activities, Jitin Mathew and Vishal Nair are appointed as coordinators. Donnie Thomas assumes the responsibility of Treasurer.
Additionally, the committee members elected include Sylvester John, Amol Uncle, Jose Paul, Melvin P. George, Jugal Jose, Biju Varghese, Yesudas Devasi, Jones Royce, Dinu Jose, and Melfin Jillson, alongside Amy Sebastian.
In a notable decision, DMA has announced the hosting of Onam “Pooram 2024” on August 31st, promising an eventful celebration for all.
