Irish carrier Ryanair is pledged to make 5,000 pilots, cabin crew and ground staff within the next five years and has invested €50 million in a new aviation training centre in Dublin. The new centre will be managed by Airline Flight Academy and is situated in Santry, near Dublin Airport.
According to Ryanair chief executive Eddie Wilson, there will be thorough trainings for pilots, cabin crew, engineers and ground operations staff in the centre.
The training fee for pilots is likely to be €30,000, reports The Irish Times.
Three full motion simulators, one 737 MAX and two Airbus A320 will add more realistic experience to the trainees in the centre. Fixed base simulators of a Boeing 737 and an Airbus A320 will also be available.
Ryanair has training centes in the UK, Italy and Poland and the move here is with the hope that more passengers would be flying in the coming years and the demand for flight staff would be high.
