Two garda have been arrested following an alleged assault to a teenager earlier this year in Dublin. The teenager made a complaint against the garda personnel that he was assaulted in the pubic office of a south Dublin Garda station during an interaction, reports The Irish Times. There are are also reports that the CCTV at the premises caught the visuals of the assault.
The complaint is of criminal charges and the officers had been detained for questioning. One of the arrested is a sergeant.
Responding to queries from The Irish Times, a Garda spokesperson said the incident “remains under investigation”.
