Griolladh, a well-known Dublin toastie shop, is to build a third branch in the brand-new Central Plaza on Dame Street.
The company has been in operation since 2020, when they were vending from a food truck at various events and markets. In 2022, they launched their first physical location without delay on Thomas Street, and most recently, they replaced Joe’s Coffee in Arnotts.
The team took to Instagram to tell their followers that they will be opening in Central Plaza. They said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that we will be bringing our cheese to the iconic location of the old Central Back on Dame St!
“D2’S lunch game is about to be seriously upended! Things are about to get toastie.” Although we don’t have an exact opening date yet, the end of the caption did say: “Keep your peepers on our socials over the coming weeks as we get ready to grill!”
Already, Gino’s Gelto and Krispy Kreme are located in the Central Plaza. Griolladh toasties could be found at their Thomas St. or Arnotts stores in the city centre while you wait for the new shop to open.
