Minister for Further and Higher Education Simon Harris has stated that all student grant holders would receive an additional student grant payment in mid-December.
All maintenance recipients will get an extra payment on December 16 as part of the Budget 2023 package for students.
This payment will imply an extra €679 for certain students before the conclusion of the year.
Almost 50,000 pupils across the country will benefit from this.
Student scholarships will be increased by 10% to 14% beginning in January.
A one-time payment of €1,000 towards student costs will also be made soon.
This week, higher education institutions will begin contacting eligible students to obtain the account information needed to complete a refund.
Over 1.4 million individuals will receive the Autumn Double Social Protection Payment this week.
The State pension and weekly welfare benefits are included in this double payout.
