The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) issued a recall notice to shoppers about a batch of Just Free Gluten Free Puddings.
Gluten has been detected in a batch of both black and white puddings.
The implicated batch numbers are 041-22 with use-by dates of 20/05/2022.
The FSAI said in a statement “Gluten was detected in the above batch of Just Free Gluten Free Black Pudding, which is not declared on the label, and therefore the batch is being recalled.”
“This may make the affected batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of cereals containing gluten. As a precautionary measure, the above batch of Just Free Gluten Free White Pudding is also being recalled.”
“ Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Lidl stores supplied with the implicated batches.”
