Indian nurse who helped give birth to a woman in flight found dead at residence in Cambridge

An Indian nurse was found dead at her home in Swaston in Cambridge. Cardiac arrest is suspected.

Pratibha Keshavan, a 38-year-old nurse from Kerala who had lived in the UK for two and a half years, was employed by Cambridge’s Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Pratibha was supposed to have taken a flight to Kerala this week.

The spouse and kids of Pratibha reside in Kumarakam, Kerala. On her return trip, she planned to bring them with her to the UK.

In 2021, Prathibha was able to join a crew on board Air India to assist in delivering a baby for a passenger who began to experience labour pains while the Air India aircraft was in flight.
