The adult film actor Ron Jeremy has been indicated with more than 30 counts of sexual assault over a period of 23 years in the US. The jury indicted the charges after the complaints from 21 women aged between 15 and 51 years old. Jeremy, whose real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt was a popular porn actor during 1970s and appeared over 2,000 movies. The 68-year-old had been accused of sexual assaults before too.
Meanwhile his attorney pleaded Jeremy was not guilty in an email on Wednesday stating the actor was innocent of all charges. Mr Jeremy also had claimed his innocence through Twitter last year.
Even after long due of accusations, he was first arrested only last year on charges of raping three women. He also spent behind the bars before trial. After this incident more victims came forward against him and registered formal complaints. This led to a full investigation and the team finally charged him for more than 30 accusations.
The charges are related to incidents took place long back in 1996 The counts include 12 of forcible rape, seven of forcible oral copulation, six of sexual battery and two of penetration while the victim was asleep or unconscious. All incidents were happened around Los Angeles area in the US.
