The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 7,729 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19. In addition, on Monday 21 March, 15,973 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
It brings the combined total of Covid-19 cases reported today to 23,702.
As of 8 am today, 1,338 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 61 are in ICU.
