The Meath assault that put a teenager in the hospital is being investigated by the Gardaí.
On Monday afternoon, at 2.30 pm, the incident happened in the Navan region.
Footage of the alleged incident has been circulating on social media, with gardaí appealing for people to stop sharing the footage.
A face injury was treated on the young guy who was hurt in the event at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
Anyone who witnessed the assault is being asked to contact gardaí.
