Gardaí seized about 80 electric scooters and bicycles, believed to be stolen, during a series of searches in south Dublin in connection with an ongoing investigation.
Over thirty of the electric scooters and bicycles have been identified and returned to their owners.
Gardaí are now looking for the public’s help to reunite the rest with those who originally bought them, as gardaí have been unable to identify the owners of 45 of the items.
A Garda spokesperson said,“If any member of the public believes they may be the lawful owner of any of these scooters or bicycles, please contact Kevin Street Garda station on 01 666 9400,” the spokesman said.
Gardaí are advising the public to always take a photo of their scooter or bike, and where possible, have them marked to help with identification if they’re ever taken.
