Indian Ladies in Ireland Group Visits Irish Parliament

Indian Ladies in Ireland, a prominent group comprising over 4500 Indian women living in Ireland, recently had the privilege of visiting the Irish parliament. The visit was organized by Fine Gael TD Richard Bruton from Dublin Bay North and the founder of the group Supriya Singh, who is also a political candidate for Local elections from North Dublin.

The Indian Ladies in Ireland group, established in 2017, has actively engaged its members in various cultural and social activities throughout Ireland. With their dedication and enthusiasm, the group has gained significant recognition and appreciation for empowering Indian women in Ireland.

During their visit to the Irish Parliament, the Indian Ladies in Ireland were honored to receive an exclusive tour conducted by John Sergeant. Mr. Sergeant guided the group through the historic Leinster House, enlightening them about its rich history and the intricacies of Irish politics. It proved to be a truly memorable experience for all those in attendance.

Sree Parvathi who is one of the prominent members of the group was excited to have the opportunity to visit the Irish Parliament, she said that the Indian government should consider taking similar steps to educate Indians about its history and politics.

“The visit to the Irish parliament has opened our eyes to the rich tapestry of Irish history and politics. It was an experience we will cherish forever”, said Aishwarya Narayanan.

Another group member, Parvathi Yellapu, praised the group for its hard work in uniting all the Indian Ladies on one platform and said that it has been one of the best resources for anyone coming from India and trying to settle down in Ireland.
