The poem Dear Salma by Malayali Poet Aswathy Plackal was recognised as the one among ten best poems chosen by The Dublin Trinity College.
Aswathy is currently working as a nurse at Dublin and lives there for 12 years. The poem deals with the abuses and harassments women deal with irrespective of the places they live in. Women are treated in the same way everywhere in the world and the sense of freedom always rests in a woman’s mind.
