Man is his 60s seriously injured after being attacked by staff in front of Kerry hospital

A man in his 60s had been allegedly assaulted outside University Hospital Kerry last weekend. The victim suffered head injury after being attacked by a hospital personnel outside the hospital in Tralee around 7pm on Sunday, November 7.

According to gardai, the victim was first treated at the hospital. But he was then been taken to Cork University Hospital where his condition continue to be serious, gardai spokesperson said.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses and calling anyone who was in the vicinity of the entrance to A&E at University Hospital Kerry between 5pm and 8pm to come forward. Witnesses can contact Tralee Garda Station 066 7102300, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
